1. Acceptance
By accessing ViaGreek (“the Network”), you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the Network. These terms apply to all members, including alumni, active members, and associates of Sigma Tau Gamma.
2. Eligibility
Access is limited to verified members of Sigma Tau Gamma. You must complete the identity verification process to gain access. Creating an account under false pretenses, sharing your credentials, or providing false information during verification will result in immediate termination of access.
3. Acceptable Use
You agree to use the Network only for its intended purpose: connecting with fellow members for professional networking, referrals, and career development. You agree not to:
- Harass, threaten, or intimidate other members
- Share another member's contact information outside the Network without their consent
- Use the Network for commercial solicitation, spam, or unsolicited promotions
- Scrape, harvest, or systematically copy member data
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other accounts or the underlying systems
- Post false, misleading, or defamatory content
- Impersonate another member or person
4. Member Content
You are responsible for the accuracy of your profile information and any content you post (messages, job listings, bio). By posting content, you grant the Network a non-exclusive license to display that content to other verified members as part of normal platform operation.
Administrators reserve the right to remove content that violates these terms or is otherwise harmful to the community.
5. Job Postings
Job postings must represent legitimate employment opportunities. Posting fraudulent, expired, or misleading job listings is prohibited. The Network is not responsible for verifying the accuracy of any job posting and is not a party to any employment relationship.
6. Account Termination
Administrators may suspend or terminate access for violations of these terms, conduct unbecoming of a member, or at their discretion. You may request account deletion at any time by contacting an administrator.
7. Disclaimers
The Network is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee the accuracy of member profiles, the availability of the platform, or the outcome of any professional connection made through it. Use of the Network is at your own risk.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, ViaGreek and its administrators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Network, including but not limited to lost business opportunities or unauthorized access to your data.
9. Changes
These terms may be updated at any time. Continued use of the Network after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
